The Cool Steam Distillation Process
When raw ingredients are steam distilled, the essential oils are separated from other raw materials and carried by steam to a condenser. As the steam becomes a liquid, the essential oil floats to the top and is separated and bottled.
The Cold Pressing Process
When raw ingredients are cold pressed, essential oils held within the fruit or plant skin are released and carefully scraped off. The scrapings are put into a centrifuge to separate solid ingredients from the oil, which is then removed and bottled.
